Did you know you can make your very own pumpkin spiced coffee at home with just a small handful of simple ingredients? True story! I like going this route when in the mood for a little “PSJ” (Pumpkin Spiced Java) so I know for sure I’m not getting coffee that has just been sprayed with pumpkin flavoring. Yes – that’s a thing!

So, if you’re a pumpkin spiced coffee lover like Jeff and me, give this recipe a try; it’s super easy, super quick and super delicious!  Here you go:

  1. Add the first four ingredients to a cereal-sized bowl and stir to combine.
  2. Place this coffee/spice combo in your coffee maker of choice (automatic or French Press) and then add water to the appropriate location.
  3. Then, brew away!

Easy Homemade Pumpkin Spiced Coffee

Makes one full pot

Ingredients

16 T. Light or Medium Roast Ground Coffee

1 T. Pumpkin Pie Spice

1 tsp. Allspice

1 tsp. Vanilla Bean Powder  (optional)

4 1/2 cups Water (Boiling, if using a French Press)

Optional Mix-In:  Creamer and/or sweetener of choice.  Cashew milk is a great choice!

That’s a lot of tablespoons of coffee to make a 12 cup

I know it sounds like a lot ~ but the usual way to go is two tablespoons per cup of coffee made. But if you prefer coffee that it is a little less strong, feel free to use less.
